Topic: EcoWit WH40 and Ambient WS5000 question

Hello, I need to replace the rain sensor on my Ambient WS5000 (WH40). It will be easier to just purchase a new unit due to time and shipping cost back to Ambient from South Africa. Can I order an EcoWit WH40 and connect it to my Ambient system? The units look the same and have the same model number, but Amazon only has the EcoWit version.

Unfortunately no. The Ambient console will not recognize the EcoWitt WH40, it will only recognize the Ambient version.
