Apparently, though, there was only a limited supply. Today I stumbled across where
Monoprice has taken on a new line of "security camera housings". These look *very* similar to the ones I bought. An 11" long housing and the mount (mounts must be ordered separately) runs less than $16 plus shipping. For two of the 11" housings and mounts, including shipping, it would cost me $40.35. They've also got some with the heater/blower installed for about $8 more.
Naturally a DIY-housing made out of a GLAD container and a square piece of lexan would be cheaper, but...
