Mark III - 418MHz IP100
« on: June 28, 2019, 10:10:51 AM »
I've a MarkIII 418MHz IP100 that Rainwise mentions 'no radio signal' and I of course got messages from WU mentioning it. Any idea how to diagnose. Reset button does nothing. I'd call Rainwise but I don't speak so I thought I'd get it out here also early in the AM. I'll email RW.

Console displays accurate information. I need a sensor also but I've tried to avoid the 'climb'!

*****DISREGARD - Ralph said IP-100 appeared well. I took the receiver out of the window 'shook it' and put it back. 30 minutes later I look and it's 'ONLINE' and being acknowledged by WU etc.

Thanks Ralph!!!

You usually have to be a trained engineer to fix something by shaking it or thumping it...  :-)

LOL - Yes I get it!! Anyway it's 'FRITZED' again and Ralph seems to believe the battery is 'misbehaving' so I'll be doing a battery in the next couple days. I 'shook & thumped' a few times to no avail!! Console still functions well.
