Thanks Brian, and it has always been a simple but impressive template and matured very well.  My oldest version that I still have in an old backup is 2015-10-09.  I've enjoyed the progress and learned along the way.  And it does show up quite well on my Galaxy S7 http://www.komokaweather.com/pws

Enjoying,
Paul

Hello Brian, I was wondering if you check this regarding the rain graph comparison, I want to confirm from you if your conversion in rain rate is really based on your own formula? because when I check from their graphs even to WU, are all of rain rates are the same in millimeters except yours so maybe you could check it (see the attachment) and maybe you enlighten me for the conversion in your graphs. Thanks.

hello

sorry cant help you much looking at the template all the conversions have been removed from the menu so no idea what the actual configuration is set to .

also all your data is stored in non metric http://pimohweather.webutu.com/pimohweather/chartswudata/2017.csv

so could be a number of different things but impossible to diagnose without access to the easyweathersetup.

sorry not much help to you ..good luck

Oh my bad, I didnt change the units in easyweather setup, it was set to "English" , now I set it correctly and the right rain rate shown this time. thanks for pointing me that out.

For those of you with MeteoBridge as the source, I found some errors in an earlier upload configuration I had found somewhere. It may have been corrected after I found it, but just in case, here is my latest that seems to work. Brian, the maintainer of the template does not really want to support MeteoBridge beyond what is there right now, which is why I am publishing it.
Use:
Code: [Select]
http://www.starreveld.com/pws/mb.php?d=[DD]/[MM]/[YYYY] [hh]:[mm]:[ss] [th0temp-act] [th0hum-act] [th0dew-act] [wind0avgwind-act] [wind0wind-act] [wind0dir-act] [rain0rate-act] [rain0total-daysum] [thb0seapress-act] [wind0dir-act] [wind0wind-act=bft.0] m/s C hPa mm -- [thb0seapress-delta60:--] [rain0total-monthsum] [rain0total-yearsum] [rain0total-ydaysum] [thb0temp-act] [thb0hum-act] [wind0chill-act] [th0temp-delta60:--] [th0temp-dmax] [th0temp-dmaxtime] [th0temp-dmin] [th0temp-dmintime] [wind0avgwind-dmax] [wind0avgwind-dmaxtime] [wind0wind-dmax] [wind0wind-dmaxtime] [thb0seapress-dmax] [thb0seapress-dmaxtime] [thb0seapress-dmin] [thb0seapress-dmintime] [mbsystem-swversion:--] [mbsystem-buildnum:--] [wind0wind-max10] -- -- [uv0index-act:--] -- [sol0rad-act:--] [wind0dir-avg10:--] [rain0total-sum60] -- [mbsystem-daynightflag:--] -- [wind0dir-avg10:--] -- m -- [mbsystem-daylength:--] -- -- [uv0index-dmax:--] [th0hum-dmax] [th0hum-dmaxtime] [th0hum-dmin] [th0hum-dmintime] [th0dew-dmax] [th0dew-dmaxtime] [th0dew-dmin] [th0dew-dmintime]

hello

as i said in the email thanks for your observations ! however let me clarify and explain you may understand why that the meteobridge-direct option within the template will be removed sooner or later.

some time ago the developer of meteobridge offered to include the option within meteobridge itself , this would make life easier and a more user friendlier way of using the option. currently having to cut and paste a mass of code is prone to error as each week i get an email of some sort and it always boils down to the cut paste of the code into meteobridge itself.

I don't own a meteobridge the solution in use was created kindly by WIM of leuvent template some time ago , in testing everything worked fine however what began to happen is users would try to use a variant of the long code and this began to throw up errors within the template and incorrect values started to appear . if the original long code supplied by WIM was used no problems arose, i still use that output to file as a test to try and replicate issues.

Now some many weeks later exactly i dont know I have only had one email/pm from the developer of meteobridge asking for a homeweatherstation logo image . Thats it thats all I have heard , i even saw a thread started on the meteohub forum which i contributed to once I was able to work my way through the endless spam messages on their forum about adidas, nike etc.. but as of today I have heard nothing more and in its current state its not really and ideal solution as it is nigh on impossible for me to help or support when problems arise.

I have said before a product like meteobridge would never get through customs without charges, translated documents, import duty and so on..so meteobridge is not something I am ever likely to own and be able offer any hands on user experience support. I think even if i was to bring one back from europe as personal luggage item it would be jumped on at re-entry due to the current security measures in place.

Also meteobridge recent changes to there licence conditions in terms of paid support this makes it all sort of not worthwhile from my perspective, whilst I appreciate a product like this needs to sustain a healthy funding to prevent it from becoming a discontinued item or a product that is no longer sustainable to produce and support .It all leaves me to think well what is the point in continuing to try and offer a template solution for something I have no experience or real understanding.

so I sincerely apologise in advance but where it is now is probably as far as it goes in terms of meteobridge use unless the meteobridge developer implements his suggestion.I see no point in offering something that doesn't work accordingly .

so please don't see it as I cant be arsed to do anything , i try to resolve most issues but meteobridge is one dark area for me.

so sorry...brian

No apology necessary. I mentioned you do not want to support it, not to diss you, but simply stating what you said, without rehashing all the reasons. You gave them anyway, and that is great. Meanwhile I know some of us do use your template with MB so I thought there was some value in publishing the string I use.

Pure copy/paste would not cause a problem, but people trying to fiddle with individual items would (and the blame would be entirely on them), in particular because everything is order dependent and items can also not be left out or added. There was some discussion a while ago about this format (only a "d" parameter in the URL), v.s. a URL with individually labelled data items. While the former was easier because it could be made to mimic existing support for Cumulus, the latter is more resilient in the face of users trying to change something as each parameter is individually named.

Either way, I suggest you add some language to your documentation that:
  • You will not do any more support for MB than what you have
  • Pick one "documented" and "tested" string and publish it, adding that it is not guaranteed, nor supported (i.e.you will not answer questions on it).

I am pretty sure that between Wim, myself, and perhaps a few others, we can agree on what that latter string should be.

Both links are equivalent and point to the same location, where exactly is your PWS site?

These links are not necessarily equivalent. It depends on the configuration of his web server. In most people's configurations they will effectively be equivalent though.

I think he must also stop the Cumulus updates otherwise if you just delete it, as soon as the update time comes, Cumulus will re-upload it. If you still have Cumulus uploading index.htm then you need to stop this in Cumulus.

Hello

It will be fine just wait a few days for your chart data to build up I'm guessing that's a new wu station just setup . Hence no data for month or year but daily is working from 10am your time today. All looks good have fun..
