Title: Almanac
Post by: 92merc on October 12, 2018, 04:51:29 PM
With the announcement of WU ending their API, I've been in search of a way to get record hi/low normal hi/low, and normal rain mtd with normal rain ytd.  I've been working on a possible database for my city.  But I came across this page.

Anyone with PHP knowledge think there would be a way to scrape the data from this page?  All the data that I personally am looking for is there.  It's a matter of plugging in a city and data.

I can barely spell PHP somedays, so I'm not the guy.

If you have a station and are collecting data, have you looked at any of the scripts from Wildwood Weather?

Are you referring to the Daily Records script on his site?  If so, that looks like it's just looking at your stations records.

What I was looking for was a way to get into the National Weather Service official records.

Oh I see.  Yes the one I mentioned is just your own weather data.  Good luck on your search.
