   This nor'easter is something, with coastal flooding for both shores at my location imminent.
High tide is close.  Good thing the flooding won't be brutal.

My facility is an official Red Cross Shelter (north shore of Long Island) and I received my call to stand by.
Interesting...we'll see.

If you had a Vue, you could take it with you and know what was going on there.  

(and if you have a laptop with wireless internet, we'd know what was going on there, too!    )

I have a laptop with wireless internet in my response vehicle.
If I'm called to open the shelter, I'll keep you all posted.

   O.K.  Event is over.  Actually, a "non-event" 
Just some minor coastal flooding in Bayville, N.Y., but they're used to this type of thing.
My contact at the Red Cross told me he's heading now for the Jet game, and that I can put my pajamas back on! 
Now I have to call the five folks I put on alert and tell 'em to relax.
Ah, better yet....I'll text them all! 
Back to having fun with the weather at home...
