WU: Alecto WS-5500 wrong timestamp
« on: March 31, 2019, 03:06:32 AM »
Hi,

I recently added my Alecto WS-5500 PWS to Wunderground and it's sending data successfully.
However, the timestamp is 1 hour behind and since DST has become active since last night it's even 2 hours behind.
The PWS itself only has one setting related to the timezone and that's influencing the time on the indoor-unit. So I can't change that.
I think this needs to be corrected on the devicesettings on wunderground.com.
However, there are no timestamp related settings available for the device on weatherundeground.com.
My timezone is GMT+1 (and I've set the timezone in the indoor-unit to '1H' as suggested by the manual for the WS-5500).
Station-ID: IALMEL1

Can anyone please help with this?

THanks in advance.

In case you missed it, IBM has almost completely broken the WU website presentation of just about everything.  They say they're "working on it" but new broken things tend to show up every day.

A prudent person would not make any changes on their end until you read here at wxforum that the site has indeed been fixed.  Until then it's not you, it's WU!

Thanks for your reply. It's sounds as a big problem then.
I just started two days ago with my PWS just to find out about this.
I hope it get's fixed soon.
How long has it been broken by now?
