Widespread breaking news coverage of Hurricane Sandy here in Australia.

Our normal morning breakfast show which usually runs from 6am till 9am, was extended until 1pm AEDT with a special news bulletin starting 11 minutes ago at 1pm AEDT.

Lots of live footage and crosses to NBC/CNN news reporters in the New York talking to the Australian news anchors.

^ I have been seeing a lot of wind gusts on Mount Washington over 100 knots.   The strongest one I saw so far was 121 knots (139.25 mph).

Mountains here in WV are under a blizzard warning and could receive up to 3' of snow! Good chunk of the Appalachians have over a foot of very wet snow right now with way more to come, while it rains where I am :-(
