Weather Display is not showing solar data
« on: August 27, 2024, 06:21:57 PM »
My Weather Display software is  :roll:not showing solar data. All I get is 0 . All other data is fine. I have solar checked in my station setup.

Any suggestions?

FYI, my sensor is working. It reads on my base station. I'm using Davis. BYW.

Do you have Control Panel > Solar Sensor > Main Switch on?

And Time Zone/Lat/Long set?

BTW can't see your web page. . . is the URL correct?

Do you not have to select a station on the Davis page?

And longitude is entered wrong, but other than that I don't know why you can't see solar. (Have to tell you I'm not familiar with Davis kit.)

Can we see the correct URL to your website?

For what it's worth, here's my website: www.empw.net

I am getting a raw reading now but not a current % reading.

How do I need to set my long and lat? Thought I had it entered OK.

Go to Control Panel/Sun/Lunar & Coordinates and set your Long and Lat that should help.

Longitude 94°W is entered positive in WD, which uses astronomical lat/long. You have -94°

Well, I did away with the - on the longitude. Didn't make any difference.

I downloaded an older version of WD. Now it seems to be working.
