VirtualVp and comcom
« on: October 08, 2024, 05:50:45 PM »
Hello,

I hope you are well - do you guys have any kind of guide on how to setup Comcom and the VirtualVP in order to create a virtual ports and be able to run at the sametime on my machine cumulus mx and weatherlink?

I have downloaded Virtualvp and also comcom already but i cannot get it to work. My weather station is on serial COM4
I understand i need to create pairs on Comcom then configure VirtualVp to point at them but something im doing wrong..

Thanks

Before Com0com went 64 bit we had to switch over VPSE. I used Com0com until I switched to 64 bit Windows. I found VPSE worked better and set up easier and the price was reasonable. I posted in this forum a How To on setting up VPSE with VVPro. Try searching the forum for that and using Com0com.
