Chris, strange that is.  The external IP has not changed.

Ryan, I did a port forward through the router for the weather computer IP.  Not sure what you mean port forward webcam 7?

Your IP hasn't changed. It's showing up in the forum as the same. I would recheck the IP address assignments for your port forwarding. Make sure port 8080 is forwarding to the PC that is running webcam 7. You don't need to worry about port forwarding anything else.

I cant see either one at the moment. Something changed. It's doubtful, but you may want to check and see if your external IP changed. Check on whatismyip.com again.

So I have webcam set up with the external IP and the port assigned.  Appears Chris you can see that with the actual IP address in a browser but not from within the web page with the code - right?

Yes it is running under web/broadcast.

So the pc running wc7 is forwarded? If not do a cmd prompt and type in ipconfig/all.

Can you provide a pic of your port forwarding table from your router?

Wondering if your ISP has port forwarding blocked?

Randy, checked IP of weather computer and it is correct.

Chris, the modem is a Motorola - supplied by cable company.

Ryan, I can check with my ISP and see if they are blocking port forwarding.

It was working but something changed. Otis, verify that port 8080 is indeed showing up in WC7 under broadcast. If it is, try moving to another port like 9000. Be sure to change in WC7 and reassign the port forwarding in the router table to 9000. Also, perform an ipconfig /all on your webcam pc and post results.

Model of modem, I don't know right at the moment - will have to get back on that one.

I'll try changing to a new port and see if that works.  This will take a few minutes.

Everyone, I really appreciate the time you all are taking with me on this.

Also, I have a 5 month old Pointer Puppy at my feet that wants to play.  Guess I have my hands full.

Correct. I just want to make sure he has a standard modem. Example, Motorola Surfboard SB6121.

Chris he has Linksys E2500 router. I've looked it up already he just needs to make sure the computer running WC7 internal Ip is correct when forwarding.

Change port numbers. I picked 229, 129 and 259.  All those numbers have a meaning behind it too. Lol

Not working. Try installing the Open Port Check tool and run the test to verify if you are able to reach 9000. I provided a link.
