New Beta Release
« on: July 22, 2011, 11:05:18 AM »
For those of you that like to live on the bleeding edge there was a new Beta release of Cumulus yesterday.
Cumulus v1.9.2 build 1004  http://nybbles.co.uk/downloads/beta192/CumulusSetup.exe

So far, no major issues.  Remember to always back up a copy of your Cumulus folder before installing a new release!

NOAA style reports have been added ...very cool!  8-)

I really like Cumulus, it's so simple and easy to work with.   :-)

So far I'm having fun with it. The one thing I find a challenge which in my case where I'm having to use a temp/hum sensor #2 in place of the main temp/humid being sensor #1 is shot and still reports. You have to go into the "cumulus.ini" and modify it which can be tricky. Before I used WSDL and it already had a send sensor # option which made it simple. I've probably got a rare situation where sensor #1 died but still sends. I can't get rid of it because it sends wind data. Cumulus Beta has enabled support for WMR100/200 so that's why I made the switch. By VP2 doesn't yet have Weathe Link. So my VP2 data doesn't report. Overall I'm still happy with Cumulus. Seems to do the job well.
