WMR-968 Transmitters
« on: January 10, 2009, 08:54:44 AM »
I have a WMR-968. I just received it for Christmas. The temp transmitter was not working, so Ambient sent me a new one. I replaced it and still have the same problem. So I tried to replace the rain transmitter with the temp transmitter. Now the rain transmitter doesn't work. Any suggestions?

It's the sensor, mine has died as well, about 3 months after I got it a year ago.

Wait a minute. I'm confused. Lets clarify. You took the rain transmitter and hooked it up to the temp sensor and you still are not getting a reading from the temp sensor, is this correct?

What happens if you take the transmitter that was on the temp sensor and connect it to the rain sensor, do you get a reading?

If so. Then is't the sensor it's self that bad and not the transmitter.

Thanks,
Anthony
