Topic: New station advice for confused newb

I don't know if professional forecasts come from a conglomeration of data from personal stations or from singular high quality equipment.  I was hoping that the forecast on the AW.net site would be something more like what Galfert said above: "When I say "dashboard" I'm referring to your data on some online weather service that have crunched data from many stations using various weather forecasting techniques and computer modeling standards."
