Storm Éowyn january 24th western Ireland

Hi all.
thought I'd post a snippet of Éowyn from Connemara. widespread damage and power outages -some still bad after 2 weeks
The wind began to increase substantially and quickly from 0040h on the 24th. Gusts reached over 100km/h at 0250h and sustained this gusting speed until 0720h. The gusts at our house reached a peak of 127km/h at 0500h. The wind speed at the coast -Mace Head (6.3km to the southwest) - reached 183km/h (an Irish record) -never heard anything like it!

Notsorusty:
incredible storm with tremendous damage. Hoping that you and your country have a fast as possible recovery. A lot of infrastructure needs to be rebuilt.

Conchobair:
Wasn't too bad where i am in Kerry, I had a gust of 97kmh at my station. We lost power for only 10 hours before it was restored so we one of the lucky ones. Storm Darwin in 2014  was alot worse for us here .. was without power for 4 days and that was bad enough ... can't even begin to imagine 2 weeks without it.
I think there are still around 3,500 homes without power and water..

Your graph looks like a hurricane a passage over here. Hope you get back to normal soon.
