Rocketman:
What do you think new EBL batteries lithium ( non-rechargable ) ?
Not sure if these can be used with Ecowitt sensors etc ? - let me know , I would like to try them
Might be an alternative to the Energizer Ultimate AA batteries , I currently use

About this :
* 【NEW GENERATION Lithium Battey】EBL lithium aa batteries, non-rechargeable battery adopt the new advanced technology to keeping itself super long-lasting and keep 1.5v constant discharge in 3000mah lithium cell, Also, the batteries show no memory effects and due to low self-discharge, you can store them for a longer period of time.(NOTE: This is Non-Rechargeable Battery)
* 【High Efficiency and Constant Output】The 1.5v aa lithium battery keep constant volt discharge rate and have 100% of its capacity available.
* 【Superior Performance in Extreme Environment】EBL lithium cell aa batteries could keep high performance in a wide temperature range from -40° F to 140 ° F, Don’t worry about the influence of the weather.
* 【No Leakage, Safer Using】EBL lithium batteries use the highest quality cells of the safest technology and pass 14 safety test, guarantee the safety and reliability of our batteries especially for electrical devices.
* 【Lighter but Powerful Standard Size】Super lithium aa batteries offer high power density which causes lithium batteries to be relatively small and light. Compared to alkaline batteries lithium provides great energy density. Go for EBL lithium AA batteries if you concerned and want to lighter weight and standard size!
* 【Warning & Caution!】Do Not Recharge! They are Non-rechargeable Lithium AA Batteries.

10% 1 star reviews on Amazon is pretty bad ...https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B08SWJYJ2Q/ref=acr_dpx_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-bar
In my opinion, an Amazon product that has 2% 1 stars is pretty good. 4% to 5% is acceptable. Beyond that I consider that the item is not a good choice. Of course, one still needs to evaluate the product specs and features etc.

Speaking as a retailer - is Energizer Ultimate AA batteries the only trusted battery everyone uses .
I would still like to give the EBL Batteries a chance , I know they can have batch problems etc..
I have personal dumped 24 x 40 pack of AA Batteries because of leaking cells etc .( Eclipse brand )
Not many 1.5 volt AA batteries to choose from down here in New Zealand as the shipping cost is expensive .

@Rocketman:
you may be personally interested in different types of batteries and their performance etc. - but you are now way off-topic with this post in the Ambient Weather and Ecowitt and other Fine Offset clones board/(sub-) forum.
It rather belongs to the Other Weather Topics (https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?board=23.0) or the Tech Corner (https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?board=96.0) section.
As an add-on to an existing thread it can make sense - but, imho, not as a separate thread.
let's stay here with the directly Ambient Weather and Ecowitt and other Fine Offset clones related things.
I guess when the moderator reads it, he will move it into one of these boards.

The energizers work fine as a lot of us know. They are also the easiest to get (for me) my local drug store carries them. I also , tend to use alkaline batteries as I don't have real bad temperature extremes.
I see no problem in you trying the EBLs and the sensors are not going to care.
Although, I do feel , this is off topic still for this forum. If you wanted to ask a question on this , I would have changed the topic to a question, like , "Will EBL AA Lithium batteries work in the sensors?" , and have posted a link to what you are buying. Otherwise, this topic will just go downhill.
