New Weather Station Hobby Setup at Watanobbi
« on: March 27, 2009, 02:56:17 AM »
Ok, after some reading i thought i'd spend some money and buy a weather station. Then as i started to get hooked i built a Stephenson Screen and mounted the gear on a 6m pole.

The screen needs final legs but i'm just testing locations and i'll probably mount it on a single pole.

I added a bird deterent on top of the anemometer because i had a magpie picking his wings one sunday morning.

any comment, feedback most welcome.
