Topic: DFARS 24/7 conversion

I know there's threads on this but I wanted to make a new thread since I have a slightly different situation to what I've been reading, namely I have no way of getting power to the ISS. I also can't seem to find the scaledinstruments conversion kit, do they still sell it? The only thing I can find is the pdf manual for it, but that's obviously of little use if I can't buy the kit. Is there other, relatively easy ways of converting the DFARS to a 24/7?

In an ideal world I could just connect a battery in some way or another to the motor so it works 24/7 but I have no idea how to do that, I'm a bit of a noob to say the least.

If you can't find the kit on the website I would email them and inquire.  There is also a parts list on page 2 of the instructions https://www.scaledinstruments.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/R-DFARS_Conversion_V1.2.pdf.   They also have a diagram and a full parts list for the 24 FARS on the same site https://www.scaledinstruments.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/24hr_fars_Exploded_Diagram.pdf.

My Solutions been in place for a few years now.

A 12V 7Ah SLA battery - $25.00.
3A PWM Solar Charge Regulator - $10.00.
20W Solar Panel - $20.00
Buck Regulator - $5.00.

The battery, panel etc are self explanatory, the regulator adjusts the output voltage to 2.2V for the fan.
All enclosed in an upside down 4L icecream container.
