WU stopped accepting my webcam images quite some time ago. My process keeps sending, but they keep blocking. Image sizes are well below 150k in size.

Pulled the trigger on Weatherbridge. I'll delete the camera at WU, sick of watching the spinner go round lol.

Okay. Then you are going to need the following URL to have the Meteobridge pull the image from the camera.

http://192.168.x.x:88/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2

The :88 corresponds to the port you set if different than 80.

Yes, exactly. Besides being able to sending the image to WU and to Meteobridge.com via Weather Network tab, you can also webcam FTP upload to any destination you want (ie your own web server or anywhere else). It is done under Services / Camera FTP Upload.

PS - Don't call it a WeatherBridge. That is just the name that Ambient uses but it really means nothing. What you actually have is a Meteobridge. You'll see that when you power it up everywhere in the menus it just references itself as a Meteobridge just as a Meteobridge from any other place would. The WeatherBridge name is just what you need to know when placing the order because that is what Ambient decided to call it. The nice thing about the Ambient version is that it comes fully licensed for Ambientweather.net at a good total value. A Meteobridge from any other place can be upgraded with the Ambientweather.net license for $100 as an add-on one-time-purchase. The Ambient WeatherBridge runs exactly the same software as any other Meteobridge would and it gets the very same firmware updates.

Well first thing you should do before you start uploading anywhere is to calibrate your station. First order of business is barometric calibration. You should jump on a calibration message thread in the Ecowitt sub-board if you need help with this. Roughly looking at your station it seems to me that you need a correction of around ~21.8 hPa (~0.64 inHg). This is especially true for AWEKAS as they will not stand for a not calibrated station. More help on AWEKAS there too.

Let's try and keep this thread on topic. I know it has diverted a bit a few times and that is my fault too.

Hey, here too, just one image on the current weather page from 1629 PDST, but clicking on it to see the history shows blank ...

UPDATE 7/22 The image is back mostly up-to-date on the PWS page; the link to cam history page is broken; history is incomplete but better than yesterday.
I am glad that someone is trying!

Gotta love it. It shows mine offline but yet updated 4 minutes ago and if you go to it and hit play it will show you 2 days of uploads in the timeline. LOL.

I shut down FTP and deleted the camera. Not worth the aggravation that WU has made it. I can view my security cams from anywhere and doubt anyone actually watches to see what the weather is like here anyway.

Getting ready to do the same. I just FTP'd one of them to WU as a courtesy. I'm not spending more $$$ or getting aggravated about it when I bought them to see on my iphone while gone and record as well if something happened around here.

So, a couple of weeks later only 1 of my webcams are showing up on WU.

I had 2 of the three reliably uploading for years and just before the snafu happened the 3rd one suddenly reappeared only to disappear along with the rest during the interruption period.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if WU has started restricting the number of webcams per account or something.

Does anyone have more than 1 showing currently?

So cams 2 and 3 have reappeared off and on on my site but it's hit and miss and the images are out-of-date i.e. hours old.

My WU cam 1 image is always a reliable current time-15min snapshot but cam2 and 3's WU images are crap shoot lately for whatever reason.

They may or may not show up and if they do the image shown is way behind.
