Assistance With Aeris Weather Maps Please
« on: April 25, 2020, 09:44:40 AM »
I am currently using Aeris weather maps on my web site. I'd like to know first if anyone here uses them for their web site as well and does anyone know how to get a "legend" to appear on the map as well as a time/date stamp to show when the image was created? Right now I'm using static single images. Thanks in advance for anyone who may be able to assist.

Don,

You can't put the legend on the map, but Aeris does provide a legend you can put on your page with your maps:
https://www.aerisweather.com/support/docs/aeris-maps/reference/legends/

Aeris provides, at least on some maps I've done, the ability to put a timestamp with this code:
Code: [Select]
                overlays: {
                    timestamp: "MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm A"
                }

We're going to be relaunching meteomaps within the next month or so and we'll have a map that might be what you're after.
