Download link:
https://osswww.ecowitt.net/uploads/20210702/user.bin

the file user.bin to be copied on a microSD card (SDHC, max 32 GB) and the card inserted into the microSD card slot
on the right hand side of the console above the power inlet - the update process should start automatically

(careful - there is some space between slot and console canvas - make sure the card enters the slot and doesn't slip inside the console -
the right card position for inserting is when the contacts of the card showing towards you when looking at the display) :!:

No - they are incompatible.
You will have to use the firmware Ambient provides at their web site
https://help.ambientweather.net/help/ambient-weather-ws-2000-firmware-download-center/

This firmware only works with the HP2551 and genuine FineOffset clones (Froggit HP1000SE Pro, Watson 8686 ....).
The console used with the Ambient WS-2000/WS-5000 product uses its own firmware.

Well the firmware I’m running is newer than what they have on site. But I was just wondering if it would be easier to convert over to different firmware vs buying/importing the ecowit console.  I was getting tired of waiting for the AW soil probes to come back in stock when E had piles of them on Amazon. So I said to myself: why not just run an ecowitt console.

In any case, AW just got more soil probes in stock (free shipping too) so that take scare of that.

AW seems to be far behind on firmware releases compared to Ecowit.

As you own a GW1000 (signature), you could use the Android PWT (Personal Weather Tablet) app with an old (or new) tablet to use it as display for the GW1000.
PWT uses the custom server functionality of the GW1000. If you have an old Android tablet which you could repurpose, this would be much cheaper than a HP2551 console.

Ecowitt have announced that with the next console firmware update for the HP2551 console it will be possible to see the battery status of the connected sensors similar to what you can see in the WSView app (sensors ID) for a GW1000/GW1100 or on ecowitt.net.
How and where exactly this will be shown is still open.

Isn't there a typo (typographical error, spelling mistake) in your Misol 2055 ? Shouldn't it be a Misol HP2550 ?

You would first have to know what your WordPress application expects as data to receive - i.e. the WordPress API.

As per the WordPress "Weather Station" plugin documentation ( https://weather.station.software/handbook/technical-specifications/#compatibility)
you cannot directly post from an Ecowitt or Fine Offset clone console to Weather Station but need an intermediate application software like weewx (free) ( https://www.weewx.com) or CumulusMX (free) (https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/).
They will create a file "realtime.txt" for you which can be sent via FTP or HTTP to the Weather station, or, Weather Station will poll (=pick up) that file from your server.

You will need to study the WordPress "Weather Station" documentation and follow the instructions what you have to do at the WordPress end, and then you need to install e.g. CumulusMX (CMX), connect your station (if it is the Misol HP2550 you will have to use the HTTPO (Ecowitt) option as your station in CMX), get familiar with the software and then have CMX create the realtime.txt file. Then you will have to tell "Weather Station" where it can find this file.

So there's a bit of work ahead of you to get your data displayed on WordPress Weather station. I'd suggest to start with CumulusMX (CMX) as it runs on Windows and Linux platforms.
For the testing steps to get it running working on Windows may be easiest - later on you may think of moving CMX to a RaspberryPi4.

If you get stuck at a certain point, feel free to come back here or send me a PM.
