It's a roller coaster. Goes up then down.
Wash rinse repeat.
I respectfully disagree. This is not the Democratic Party I was a card carrying union member of a decade ago. Not even close. They genuinely hate America.

I was never a hard core Democrat, but I agree... They have gone insane.

A decade ago was before a substantial chunk of them went Socialist / Marxist with The Bernie crowd.  We should never underestimate the attraction of handing out freebies.  I used to think of myself as center right.  But that position now seems like what Dems used to be and I'm off with the far right someplace.  We have watched the same happen all over the world, even with our friends up in Canada.  I guess it's a sign our older generation that fought multiple wars in the name of freedom are fading away and the new kids think being taken care of is a good thing.  They don't realize it's a good thing until you find out it isn't, never has been, and doomed to failure like every other flavor of it in the history books.  But by that point it is near impossible to go back without major loss of lives on both sides.  (Civil war)  In that respect I agree with Ocala.  History repeats itself especially when given enough time for a generation that knew better to pass away.

I've have the itch for a newer car and drove a couple and picked up loan app papers from the bank and went down to fill up the Jeep. At $2.95 per gallon I rolled over $50 and as I sat in the car later looking at the loan papers on the seat I thought how stupid can I be? Gas is $2.95 per gallon and going up and the newer Jeep I wanted has a Hemi engine. Prices on used cars are up 30% over a year ago. I looked at my log book and the last time I spent $50 on a tank of gas was 10/1/2014 just after I returned from Mexico. I filed the loan app for a future date.

When I bought my 1998 Dodge 3/4 ton diesel, diesel was $1.09 and the cheapest of the fuels.
Now it is the most expensive except in some places where "premium" beats it out.

My daughter, who works at NATO headquarters in Brussels, asked me May of 2020 what I wanted for my birthday. Knowing her TDS, I asked her to vote for Trump because when she and her family move back to the States the summer '22 they won't recognize the country they will come back to if they put Joey and Co. in "charge". She basically told me to "stick it". Well, not only am I right, I'm more right than I ever could have imagined. I also told her bread/soup lines, covid papers, wokeness, open borders, out of control inflation of gas and consumer goods, cities becoming lawless pits of slime, (what else am I forgetting...) ect. will destroy this country. The soup lines aren't quite here yet, I praying I'm not right about that as well. Sadly, we rarely speak now.
The "soup lines" are called "food banks" now.

I'm only 60 miles from the border. I think I'm going to stroll into Mexico, turn around and collect my $900K. That way I can afford my food, gas, utilities, ect. for at least another couple months. Who wants to play my "child"? I'll cut you in for 25%. PM me.  \:D/

Price for gas here has dropped from $2.75 to $2.73. It doesn't get much lower in Oklahoma.

The same must have been said of the Republican Party before every time they lost Congress and the presidency.  Neither party can do a decent job of running the country when one or the other dominates. I'm still with Wallace who said long ago that there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the Republican and Democrat parties.   At least the oil futures dipped below $80 this week for the first time in a while.  Hopefully, it will stay on the downside.

The left has become radicalized. Period. Not even debatable. Finally the American people are seeing the big, destructive picture, and it ain't pretty for Dems as they try to push through any and everything they can before they're all looking for work next November.   =D>

This is a band aid on the real problem—shutting pipelines around the country to appease the greenies.

It's despicable. Incredibly sad, but I never thought I'd ever feel such hatred over a group of people.

It was  $1.66 at the cheap place in Los Lunas during Trump.
Why don't some of these geniuses ask him what to do?
