Okay that is clear now. Looks good. The N300 and the hotspot are two different subnets. Unsure why you had to turn on DHCP server in the N300 as it should have been on as a default if it is acting as a router. My point is that when you connect the GW1000 to the hotspot the reason it works is because the hotspot's DHCP server is running. Every network has some device that acts as the DHCP server.
