WS-2000 moving display console
« on: January 20, 2019, 02:01:06 PM »
If I unplug my display console and plug it in in another location, will I lose the historical data that I’ve accumulated so far?

Nope, the settings will stay in place.  I don't know for how long, but I have done this twice with my WS-2000 and both times the settings stayed.

The WS-2000 has 16MB of internal flash storage. Some of it is used up by the configuration settings and the firmware software. No power, no batteries required to keep that data indefinitely, just like a USB flash thumb drive. You can also add an SD card and it will use that for weather data storage. You can see this info in the About configuration screen. There you can see how much free space there is.
