I connected my Ambient weather station WS 2902D's console with my phone for test with my home WIFI. But when I want to change the WIFI to new source as it will be used in different place I am not able to connect to my console. It asks password, where as earlier there was no password used. You can see lock symbol in in console's WIFI network in the attached file. I tried to do factory reset also(by removing power cable and battery for some time), still it requires password. Because of this I am not able to access console and change to new WFI. AW's customer care is not supporting. Please help me to solve the problem. Thanks

1. you can try getting the two pipes of the U-piece leveled by having them bent - may need special tools
2. put some material between the U-end where the WS80 sits and the first (top) bracket holding the WS80 pipe so it will compensate the tilt and become vertical.

If the anemometer is on a separate transmitter then check that you have set up the 'primary ISS' correctly.

See the section 'Setting a primary ISS' at: https://www.manula.com/manuals/pws/davis-kb/1/en/topic/6313-console-set-up-and-tweaks

The optical sensor will be added in parallel with the current WS90, providing more rain status data. It does not replace the current WS90 design; it is just an extra add-on that might help improve the sensor for low or high rain rate conditions.
It is always worth trying something different. Since this is just an idea, there is no guaranteed good result. It is just a keep-and-trying method. It won't worsen it, but I don't know how good it will be.
Very good- this is just what I thought - and it shows the creative and innovative approach at Ecowitt  =D>
one also has to be ready to fail - at least at the first steps - but without leaving trotten paths no or very little innovation is possible

Thanks Henry, we'll see...

Weather Web Cams / Bizarre Problem with IpTimelapse
« Last post by DAVE Z on Today at 01:14:26 AM »
I have been having a problem creating a movie using images from my NEST cam which my IPTIMELAPSE captures every minute. If you view the MP4 in the link I included you will see the video of the analog clock  actually backs up! Clouds in the sky  back up also. I have gone through the archived JPG files that IPTIMELAPSE  timestamps and they  are labeled in order. The “Time of creation” that Windows includes with the archived JPG files is also in chronological order. However, when I click through the files every so often the actual image is from back in time. How can IPTIMELAPSE  grab an image from the NEST cam  that happened fifteen minutes ago? It is bizarre. Mike at Sebec Tec can not explain it. Does this happen to anyone else?

Weird all my other apps show on my phone under settings except for the weatherlink app.
I deleted the app and reinstalled it and the wind section now shows in the app but doesn’t display any data for wind.
Not sure if something is going on with the app itself or a setting im missing

Wind not showing should have nothing to do with the subscription

Davis Instruments Weather Stations / Help with new vp2 please

I just set up the anny with a separate wireless transmitter and the 6313 console. I am setting up the rest of the sensor suite at a later time after some construction around the house is done. I needed to setup the anny on top of the roof prior to everything.
I also have the weatherlink app on my phone.
The anny works properly and the wireless transmitter is sending data to the console just fine on a different channel than what the sensor suite is set up for. The console is also displaying the indoor temp, humidity, and barometric pressure just fine.
Here is the issue:
On the weatherlink app it displays the temp, humidity and pressure as is displayed on the console but the wind is not displaying on the app.
Also when i go into the settings it asks if i want to upgrade from “station tier basic” for $47. I am subscribed to the pro after paying the $47 when i set up the Weatherlink account on my phone. It also shows on my console my subscription is “pro”.
Is the wind not showing on the app have anything to do with the subscription and why is the pro not showing on the app but is in the console.
Am i missing something or setting something wrong?
Thanks
