Topic: Use Raspberry Pi instead of virtual weather station and laptop 24/7

Hi!

I have a wmr100n weather station connected to my laptop with virtual weather station. I have a lot of .htx files that I convert to .asp files that I upload with ftp to my webhotel. The laptop is running 24/7.
Now I want to use a Raspberry Pi instead. Does any have a proposal how I can do it in the easiest way.
Which weather program should I use? Any good guide somewhere? How have you solved it?

Not sure if your station is one of these -
Oregon Scientific WM918, WMR918, WMR928, WMR968, WMR88 (see this FAQ), WMR100, WMR180, WMR200.

If so then CumulusMX (in beta testing) will run on Raspberry Pi http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=27
And sorry, I don't know if non-Cumulus historical data can be converted.

I've no idea about the .htx to .asp is about.

Yes.  Check the Wiki on templates.  You can use the Saratoga templates as well.
