The other day I got a chance to get an up close look at the NWS MMTS "beehive" and was wondering how the poor design even made it into the NWS inventory . The bottom and top louvers are filled with foam and when the foam gets wet it expands and cracks or splits open the 2 louvers .
At least the manufacture could have sealed the openings after the foam was injected and cured to prevent water from entering the 2 louvers
