Installing Alt-Ajax Dashboard 6.92h and getting errors
« on: March 16, 2024, 06:52:05 PM »
I'm trying to install the Alt Ajax Dashboard 6.92h and getting the following error: Warning: Undefined array key "properties" in /var/www/html/weather-test/advforecast2.php on line 2412. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I know its a warning but it does not help the look of the page.

I know I have an issue with the testtags.php and I'm working on fixing those.

You can see the errors at https://www.n7dq.com/weather-test/index.php.

Thanks
Mike

I think many of the issues are caused by using an old testtag.txt template file for WD.

Use the current one from the WD-plugin.zip in WD and that should fix up the issues.

Thanks Ken,

The testtags.txt fixed 95% of the problems.

So the 'properties' error is due to
Quote
<!-- WARNING: NOAAZone='WAZ022' is not correct. Will use 'WAZ204' for this point location per NWS. -->
Change Settings.php entries with WAZ022 to WAZ204 (the zones changed in Washington recently.

For the records issue, your testtags.php does have
Quote
$warmestdayonrecord = '93.0°F on: Jun 27 2021';
$warmestnightonrecord = '82.8°F on: Jun 28 2021';
$coldestdayonrecord = '23.0°F on: Jan 13 2024';
$coldestnightonrecord = '20.3°F on: Jan 16 2024';
Your Weather-Display setting in Control Panel,
Web Files/Web Page/Real Time FTP/WDL,
Custom Web Page Setup TAB
Untick the "Include the Units used"

Thanks Ken.

Got it all working now. Still need to find where NWS hid the county codes. :grin:

I appreciate the help.

You might find https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf_2023_24/scn23-116_pqr_public_zone_changes_032024.pdf useful.

You can use https://www.weather.gov/gis/ viewer to enable displays of forecast zones, county zones on a map.

Wow. Looks like Oregon is not the only zone that has changed. It took me awhile to figure this out, but at least that error is gone (for now.) On to the next problem.... Thanks Ken!
