Colorado Is On The Map
« on: July 01, 2014, 08:37:02 PM »
Had a few days off at the end of June (use it or loose it vacation) so finally got my system put together.  Just plugged it in this evening, haven't done anything to tune the system.  I see that I am showing up on the live map so at least everything is talking anyway.  I'm located in Grand Junction - far west side of the state in the middle.   \:D/

Great to see another in Colorado.  I've had a station in Meeker, then Delta, and I'm now also in Grand Junction.  However, No station active at this time.  Are you going to put up a site?

Tom,

Welcome to wonderful world of Blitzortung! Your station location should help us here in the western US. I see you're station id is 1068.

Best of luck with your tuning and getting things settled-in. You are getting some pretty results this evening.

Hey Rick,

We miss your old PTZ webcam you used to have. It had some of the greatest views around!

Welcome!

I might be moving out to Colorado Springs when it's time to start my second career in a couple of years.

Beautiful country out there!

This is great.  \:D/

Your station seems to be working well from a peek at your data on Lightningmaps.org.

Ahh!  You beat me to the CO station!  I plan on having one up and running in Pagosa Springs here in couple of weeks!

Glad to see a station on the Western Slope up on the map!

It's nice to be first once in a while.  Once I actually started soldering it went quick.  It seems that you just have to jump in and get started.

Thanks Don, I'll be moving again soon and hope to have the cam back up.  Views may not be as good but I'm anxious to get things going again.
