Hello Wim...

I downloaded the script for pwWD  And have it mostly working here...

https://www.gateway2capecod.net/pwsWD/index.php

my question is...how do i get back into the setup/settings screen to make some adjustments?

I tried going to  https://www.gateway2capecod.net/pwsWD  ...but it automatically takes me to my dashboard page here..

https://www.gateway2capecod.net/pwsWD/index.php

thanks....Chris

Hi Chris,

I am totally confused. My native language is Dutch but i try to be as clear as possible.

This forum topic is about "10 years old" forecast scripts still going strong, used in templates (f.i. Saratoga) or in one own build website.

Your text messages seems to implicate that you are using such an old script in my PWS_Dashboard.
That is not possible without a lot of work.

Your https://www.gateway2capecod.net/pwsWD/index.php link has a menu
The first selection in it "Settings" brings you diorectly to the settings which needs the password you entered the first time.

hello Wim...

the PWS Dashboard is working but not getting data from my MBrealtime.txt file which is located in the root of my server.

I attached a screenshot of how I set it up for you to see...does it look correct in my attachment?

my live data doesnt seem to be working on site, i think it is getting the demo data and not mine.

thank you...chris

The file is located at the root, so is should be two points a /  and filename.
../MBrealtime.txt

It seems you typed three points in the setup.
See attached screenshot

This is the file
19/02/2025 14:33:08 -0.8 46 -11.0 0.4 0.0 273.0 0.0 0.0 1020.1 W 0 m/s C hPa mm -- -0.4 51.8 130.0 0.0 21.3 28.0 -0.8 0.6 -0.8 14:29 -8.7 05:24 1.8 08:34 6.3 08:27 1022.2 10:31 1019.7 00:06 5.5 14907 2.2 -0.8 -0.8 -- -- -- 259.0 0.0 -- 1 -- W -- m -- 10:49 -- -- --

Seems more or less acceptable. Normally the Metebridge setup uses a linefeed as separator.  Yiours is a Cumulus realtime file.
This is the "official" source file for MB realtime from the https://pwsdashboard.com/ setup and download

hello again Wim....

well I did some more testing....changed the path to the ../MB realtime.txt  and as mentioned in previous post..page wouldnt load.

so next I uploaded the entire pwsWD folder to another server i have access too and he also has a Meteobridge setup....his would not work either.

so for what ever reason the PWS Dashboard doesnt seem to wont to work with Meteobridge at the current Time for our two websites.

so my next test was to upload it to a third server I have access to in New York and this person uses Weather Display and the clientraw.txt

It worked on the first try for his site..so no issues with Weather display.

So my next test for my site was to do a work around...instead of using my Meteobridge MBrealtime.txt file to get the data to the PWS Dashboard page...I set it up to get the data from my weather underground Data using my WU Station ID and then getting the API Key...also got API key for Metar data for sky conditions and then also added my webcam Image...and now it is all working . I also edited the background image to the page. everything looks good now.

I am going to add this pws dashboard page as an additional page on my Website into my left side bar Navigation Menu  which uses the saratoga Templates and title the link as "PWS Dashboard"

My current working PWS page is here..... https://www.gateway2capecod.net/pwsWD/index.php

and the other one  I am working on that is in New York and  has weather Dispaly is here..

http://www.northportnyweather.com/pwsWD/index.php

Thank you...Chris

hello....

i have helped peter in New york get the PWS Dashboard working on his site and we added a second webcam image but when you click on enlarge  it displays the image attached below.

where or in what file do we edit so that when you click on enlarge it enlarges the image??

the first webcam we set up works fine and enlarges fine, its just the 2nd webcam on bottom of dash that wont enlarge.. his site is here for his pws dash page.

thanks...chris
