Correction wrong data rain into txt file
« on: June 26, 2023, 10:39:18 AM »
Hello,

I cleaned my rain gauge on Saturday and during that time there has flipping buckets which are made.

How is it possible to make a manual correction ? With Excel ?
I try to open juin23log.txt and convert data

First problem: I don't know which value correspond to which data ? It's no title in the file

Second problem if I make the correction into the file how does I need to save it in order to have the initial format file.

Does I need to correct other files?

Thanks a lot

Depends on which Cumulus version, Cumulus 1 or CumulusMX?

With Excel ?
You should not use Excel

Both Cumulus 1 and CumulusMX have monthly log or dayfile log views that display the headings.

Cumulus 1 has Dayfile edit function, CumulusMX has Log file and Dayfile edit functions.

Possibly the  Alltime, Monthly, This Month's, and This Year's records and the .ini files.

Enjoy,
Paul
