Title: uv index on saratoga template
Post by: txweather.org on May 03, 2019, 01:38:43 PM
I just upgraded to a VP2 Plus +FARS and I change my Settings-weather to say yes to vantage pro 2.
Is there anything else I need to update?

My UV readings seem to be all over the place... from one second it says extreme than on another refresh say low, than none, etc...

Any ideas why? Is this behavior normal?

TIA!

It seems to be reporting an invalid value via MeteoHub for 'no' UV

Quote
   -    Extreme
High: 0.8 @ 11:59am

the '-' is not a number, so the ajaxMHwx.js script seems to run off the end of the selector and report the Extreme as the interpretation.

Using my WD Clientraw parser (https://saratoga-weather.org/wdparser/index.php?site=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.txweather.org%2FMHub%2F&submit=Submit) shows that the ./MHub/clientraw.txt has
Quote
79   Davis VP UV Index   Number (Optional)   -
and the - is the issue.. it should be a number.

Since MeteoHUB generates the clientraw*.txt files itself, it would seem to be a MeteoHUB software or configuration issue.

Seems like a bug?

There is nothing to report right now.... There is no sun... We have a bad storm hitting us and almost dark ourt..

Please see attachment both my meteobridge and meteohub are reporting the same data.....

I think I have to redo the meteohub setup as changed from vue to pro2

@saratoga,

I re-ran my MHconfig and see it fixes it self. Please let me know.

I migrated away from meteohub.... The "-" continue to hunt me. I am now using the nano sd.

When you change the weather software (MeteoHUB to MeteoBRIDGE), the data provided by the respective software is different.  Meteobridge does not create WD-type clientraw*.txt files, for example.  Some MeteoHUB pages may no longer work.

Just FYI...

I am learning this now. This is chaos.
