Ws 2080 want connect to PC

Just got the station today.  All went well till I tried to connect it to my PC with the usb cable.  After trying all the usb ports I still could not get the pc to recognize it was connected to a new device.

Any ideas?  I found one archived post where someone had gotten a bad usb cable but this is the only cable I have tonight.

Try squeezing the female end between your fingers to make a tighter join (when disconnected)- helped in my case !!

That was a good thought but no joy.  Off to the store to buy a new one.  Then a zing to AW.
