Meteobridge support for Windy available
« on: April 18, 2019, 07:27:46 AM »
Got an email from Windy, rebooted, Meteobridge 3.9 (Apr 18 2019, build 12763), FW 1.4 loaded, and... it's there.

BUT.... not working properly (pressure reported incorrectly, see other thread).

I think the dash is new. I suggested to Windy (via private chat) that they filter and throw out bad data that wasn't within normal range. So Windy is working on making some changes. I think the dash is new as a result of throwing out bad data that is too low like when you report hPa instead of Pa, or too high like when you report inHg but for some reason it was 10x.

Windy today also said they would soon create a new upload tag for hPa that is currently missing as an option. I suggested to use baromhPa as a tag since baromin already exists. This threw everyone for a loop that tried to use hPa. It affected Cumulus, Weather-Display and Meteobridge. Nobody expected that Windy was asking for Pa instead of hPa...even though it was well documented.

Gotta remember Windy said this is still Beta.

For anyone with messed up pressure graphs (like me), from looking at historical data coming from my CWOP station for comparison it seems that the graphs only go back 7 days. So after 7 days the flat pressure line should go away. This flat line was caused by bad data that was out of range. That is 7 days after you start sending good data. But since they are now filtering for bad data it seems then the 7 days starts today, and whenever your software gets fixed you'll see proper graphs as long as the previous week doesn't have any bad data.

weather display was sending baroin from the begining so never had any issues with the barometer
