Well lake effect has continued since wednesday night last week although accumulations have been on the light side it's been consistant.
The drier air has been keeping totals down but humidity is on the rise and barometer finally dropping a bit , this should spark more lake effect through the week i've only picked up 15.7 since last week but other areas are approaching 24 inches since the new year . the winds have been more northerly and the northwest wind is the sweet spot for my location..
How are others doing along the other great lakes , including our neighbors in Ontario
This is a picture from work monday after the lake effect, actually it's still going but not as intense.
I was just curious what your lake effect snow events have been like this year for those of you in states surounding the Great lakes.
Our season here has been slow to say the least , by this time last year there was almost 3 times the snow for the season thus far. Last year was above average but not anywhere close to a record. It's starting to look better in the forecast for more snow...
We're below ave for snow and overall precip for the year so snow is welcome.
