Moviesalsa Scheduler
« on: October 21, 2009, 04:39:53 PM »
Is anyone using the scheduler to run 2 seperate tasks? If so, how did you get it to use the correct .tls file for Moviesalsa?
I have been creating my daily movie for many, many years, without an issue. Now I want to create another movie for the 2nd cam, and can't get it to process correctly.

It has been to damed long since I've had to do anything with this software and for the life of me, can't figure out what the problem is.

Any ideas would be fantastic.

Hi Bob

I do - I do a 4hr and 24hr tls .
Not sure what you want 2nd tls to do.
You could in sheduler make a copy then edit it - al least
it will be a working start point.

The 2nd tls is just making another movie for my 2nd cam.

The problem is, when it calls moviesalsa, it uses whatever the setup was last set in moviesalsa. Do you need to just set the /f= and the scheduler will fill in the rest? What are your setting in moviescheduler for each task?

I run three different tasks daily with the Scheduler, using unique "labels" and different .tls filenames for each task.

One thing to watch for when you're scheduling the tasks with the Scheduler... make sure you're looking at the drop-down list above the three tabs to select which task, instead of highlighting the tasks at the top, when making any changes.

Kevin,

That isn't an issue. Got that covered.

For each task, are you using any overrides or anything? Also, what is in settings in the top menu of the scheduler?

Humm, everything is like mine.

Guess I have to do some more digging to see what the deal is with this. Gotta be something stupid simple I am not seeing or setting.  ](*,)

Maybe try adding another new task for the second webcam... retrace your steps, so to speak.

If you want to send me your .tls files, I can try it out here.

Don't know what the issue was, but removed IS & MS from the machine and did a re-install of both. After that, it worked fine.

Go figure that.  ](*,)

Thanks for all the help. Just chalk this up to one of those things that make you go, Hummmmmm.
