Ambient Weather WS-2902C - Any personnel recommendations?
« on: October 26, 2021, 11:32:58 AM »
I have been reviewing a number of PWS and the Ambient Weather WS-2902C seems to come with good reviews, reasonable cost and a full array of weather data. Any recommendations?

Hi,
My brother has this station and has had good luck with it.
Depending on budget for better accuracy and in case a sensor fails to have more repair options people go with the sensors separated.
A station with similar sensors and separated is:
https://www.amazon.com/ECOWITT-Wireless-Anemometer-Self-Emptying-Collector/dp/B07MZ3YV64/ref=asc_df_B07MZ3YV64/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309804216142&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4256211101579292431&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9005550&hvtargid=pla-688231254687&psc=1

You also will need a radiation shield which will also increase cost, but depends on how much want to spend vs accuracy.

I am a Davis station guy, but the ecowitt station owners on here can give more input on the above station if you lean that way vs the ambient all in one.

Good station but just some comments to help so get most out of purchase.

Sure. When you decide maybe let the forum know in case any tips can help you get it setup.
