WiFiLogger is 1:1 with WeatherLink IP. So it should work if WL IP is working.
You have to know, that WiFi can be disconnected for 2 sec. from time to time depends on router. So it will be not such robust like WL IP is. On the other hand. 2-8 sec. gap once a day it is not very big problem for weather data in my opinion, but fact is the fact.

what type of data logger do you have?
and is this for the consolewd version for raspberry pi?

Wifilogger 1, andyes it's for conslewd version raspberry pi
