Title: NWS Alerts Fail to Update
Post by: Bunty on May 27, 2019, 05:24:36 PM
NWS alerts won't  automatically update.  So I have to manually clear the cache by running an URL for that purpose to update them.  What did I screw up?

Hi Bunty,

Are you running Task Scheduler on your weather computer to update or do you have a CRON setup to update this?  I use EasyCron (https://www.easycron.com/) for my site. I pay like $24 a year for the service. Have not had issues with them. Been with them for about 3 years now.

LOL, the NWS Alerts have updated.  Either it automatically updated on its own, or somebody ran the URL to manually clear the cache.

I'm just running NWS Alerts for one county, so not using  a cron job or Task Scheduler.

I had manually run it to see if it did work, and it did. My apologies for not letting you know.
