Ecowitt.net dashboard changed?
« on: May 15, 2020, 04:24:10 PM »
When I opened my Ecowitt dashbord yesterday, I noticed the indoor and outdoor temperatures had swapped places.  It always had outdoor temp top left then pressure, then indoor, then solar.

Now the order is Indoor, pressure, outdoor, solar.

The same has happened to the graphs.

Has this happened to anyone else?  Can they be moved back?  I can't see any way to move the individual blocks.
Thanks

Same here. I wonder why. I hope they'll give us the ability to move the blocks.

I was really used to having the outdoor data first.  Now I have to stop and look for it ](*,)

I noticed the same thing today. Happened after I momentarily unplugged and replugged the HP3501 receiver. The air pressure moved on the dashboard. My thoughts are the tiles rearrange based on the sequence the data is received by the receiver after a reset or interruption.

Did you remove and replace the power or did a sensor go offline then back on before you noticed this rearrangement?

No, just the difference from one day to another.  All my gear including the GW1000 is on a UPS and as far as I can see that has been steady for weeks.

Next question would be, did any of the sensors loose connection with the receiver? Might be hard to debunk this unless your graphs or data table showed - before you noticed the issue.

Unlikely, because I have 2 consoles (GW1000 and WS2900) both logged on to Ecowitt.net and both changed at the same time.

Mine hasn't changed. The tiles are in the exact same order as they were at day one.

When this thread first started I checked my dashboard. No shift in positions. Hit refresh on the browser window. The Indoor and Outdoor swapped positions.

No connection issues on the sensors, at least not in the last couple weeks. I was getting the routine updates to the data on the dashboard. The browser (Chrome) and PC have also been up and running with no interruptions.  The presentation on a cell phone browser (Chrome on an Android phone) has not changed.

Got an email from Lucy saying that they made the change on their end. Must’ve happened when I was working with my station. Glad it’s back to normal. I do wish the tile arrangement was customizable like on the old now discontinued WunderStation app.
