Ambient WS-2000 displays compatibility
« on: May 30, 2024, 10:32:34 PM »
I've got a WS-2000 and Im looking to get additional displays. I'd rather not buy the full blown WS-2000 display as Id like a few of them and they are pricey.

Are any of the other displays compatible, even if it's a subset of the total information available from the station? For these extended displays it would be enough to just know outdoor temperature and humidity. Any other sensor data would be gravy on that.

FWIW, Home Assistant has an Ambient Weather Integration, so you can see your WS-2000 data on the HA app and on any smart displays around the house.  Yes, this means getting into home automation, but the Ambient Integration makes it pretty easy once you get HA up and running.
