UV/Solar sensor?

In a post over two years ago https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=39724.msg407958#msg407958, it was stated that Ecowitt was working on a true UV and solar sensor. Is this still the case?

It might be true, but I am afraid I have not heard any news or progress on such a product since that time.
