Topic: new firmware version for GW1000/WH2650: V1.7.6

Hi!

There's a new firmware version V1.7.6 available for the GW1000 & WH2650.
Use the app WS View or WSView Plus to update!

Changelog for V1.7.6:

• Fix the bug that the yearly rainfall does not clear to zero
• Support multi-channel sensor data uploading to Wunderground

I'll install this on at least one of my devices here today and will report.

Both devices updated - no problems so far.

What mean this? In Wunderground I don't see extra sensors in any station. Maybe I didn't noticed them...

multi channel sensors are the sensors of the WH31 familiy, the WN34, the WN51 and WN35 sensors
and this firmware update only means that these sensors are also posted in WU format by the console via custom server when you choose Wunderground protocol
afaik it doesn't mean that WU is displaying them

This has more impact for those that are using the custom server option, and want their data sent in the WU format, to whatever target site accepts it. As Gyvate mentioned. WeatherUnderground, not even sure it gets the extra values  when using the  WeatherUnderground setting for a site , and if does will ignore. My guess is that , in WU server send from the console to that server , the extra data is not sent. This is more about making parity with the 2 output formats for custom server, either EcoWitt or WU.
