If you already read in another topic, I have a Sainlogic WS3500/Froggit WH3000, and this time my question is about the wind. First of all, let me tell you the following: until the 9th of January, the external sensor was located "in the middle of the houses", with a hill/slope to the south/southwest, which in my view blocked the wind speed a little . I decided to install it at a higher altitude, but it had to be installed next to/below a cliff that cuts the westerly winds, however, I verified relatively higher speeds than before. Today, January 16th, we are being affected by a windstorm, with very intense winds in the highest part of the village, and the external sensor is installed there. I was just there to see, but it seems that the sensor does not catch all the winds, perhaps because it is not exposed to the west. I can't put it at a higher altitude because the signal is lost. My question is, does this station need some kind of wind calibration? I never changed the wind multiplier factor, it always remained at 1 (100), as it came from the factory, ranging from 0.5 (50) to 1.5 (150).
Is it necessary to calibrate something?
