Does anyone know what happens if none of the WH31E sensors associated with an Ambient Weather WS-3000 installation have Radio-Controlled Clock (RCC) coverage from WWVB? I don't mean temporarily, but always. Is it even usable? The user manual description simply assumes the WWVB signal will eventually be received, which isn't always reasonable.
There's a screenshot in the manual that one might imagine allows for manually setting date and time, but the text below it just says it will be set automatically. If manual setting is possible, what effect is there on sensor battery life by the RCC always trying and retrying to no avail?
