Topic: WS-1200ip receiver screen boot loop

Hey guys, first post. Setup my WS-1200ip this weekend, my first personal weather station.

Had a couple problems, first, the batteries were corroded and leaking, and short of ordering new ones, I was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs with non-alkaline rechargeables. I know that's iffy with the voltage difference, but thought I'd ask.

Second issue is the receiver monitor just goes into an endless boot loop the second I plug it in. Anyone have a similar experience or a cure?

I've already contacted Ambient and they are shipping a new unit and batteries out, but thought I'd ask anyhow. Thanks!
