Installed a clean copy of pwsWD. The config has been reviewed as correct. However data from my Ecowitt 1000/2000b seems to time out at the webserver. I tested in my browser, the receiving script is running. The log is updated correctly
test URL: https://www.njweathercat.com/pwsWD/ecowitt/test.php
error:
Sat, 04 Feb 2023 08:46:56 +0000 = Ecowitt data received:
Problem-77: NO PASSKEY found[/color].
Problem-111: No data uploaded.
"custom upload" is configured with WS View Plus.
ANY help/guidance is appreciated.
thank you,

Hi,
The GWxxxx devices need a http access to the receiving script.
When a redirect from http to https occurs the Apache server has to drop all "untrusted http data"
In your .htaccess you can allow http trafic to the ecowitt folder
You arer already posting on the WW-forum => PWS_dashboard board.
Lets solve this there.

Wim

Hi Wim,
Disabled the "https enforcer" on my website as you requested. Still waiting for the hosting tech team to reply to the list I sent them. In the future I will post all/any updates on the WW forum.
Thanks for keeping this on your radar.

Phil

Can you confirm that this problem is present in gw2000 too ( in your first post you refer to an 'ecowitt 1000/2000b' )?
-
Hi,
My problem is related to caching on my webserver. The GW2000 is not a problem. Have been using it to update a website without incident.

Hi, please revert your topic back to the original, it will help others in the future that may want to read it.

Rover1822,
please see the quote from a post from Wim/pwsWD asking to move the topic to Weather-Watch. Thanks for understanding. The issue is not an Ecowitt problem.
