While the Tempest SHT-31 hits 100% the new Davis SHT-31 has only peaked at 98%

I just installed a brand new Davis VP2 station at Petals From The Past in Jemison, AL. So far the humidity sensor is performing well with no wet bias.

You can see the comparison here with the nearby ASOS

Here is a nearby Tempest that has the same SHT-31 sensor as the VP2. I do know that this Tempest is reporting the raw RH reading and not a reading that has been tweaked by WeatherFlow’s Continuous Learning system.

Be interesting to see if the sensor will ever read 100% like it should in a heavy rain with fog. My SHT31s have never achieved 100%. Let us know if it ever reaches 100% when it obviously should.

Hi!

Yes, the new version is no longer available here either - Ecowitt may have withdrawn it again.
Maybe it's just an oversight - I'll enquire and get back to you.

My update for my WS3800 I hadn't gone for yet has also disappeared - I reported a few "buggies" to the support from my WS3910 (same firmware) - and maybe they want to remove them on the spot - let's see. There was also a sensor registration issue after the restart ...
or just some upgrade queue mess-up when adding the GW1200 1.3.0 upgrade

Thanks, i am starting with setting up the anny alongside the ws5000. In a couple months or so when i set up the remainder of the davis(sensor suite) and everything is fully functioning i will look into snitching everything over. I will have both running practically side by side and interesting to see the results. I wouldn’t have minded just having both report to cwop instead of having to suspend one and start another. At least if one ever went down for whatever reason the other is still reporting. I don’t see how it would be any different than if my next door neighbor who had a different station was reporting.

Hi!

There's a new firmware version V1.3.0 available for the GW1200.

Use the current WSView Plus app or the web interface (WebUI) of the GW1200 ("Device Setting") to update.

Changelog for V1.3.0:
  • Added support for WS85
  • Fixed some known bug

(not installed yet)

My WS3800 says that the latest version is 1.2.8.1  :?
I'm checking daily 3-4 times but still can't update to 1.2.9.
did you try WS View Plus ?
if so, remove the app from the RAM of your smartphone (NOT uninstall - that's something else) and start it again
(on Android this is ||| from the bottom line/bar and then swiping the WSV+ app to the top)
it may also be regional and depend on the Ecowitt CDN network to be updated

Google can be your friend ...
the search for "how to post data from a davis vp2 to cwop" provides the below link as first hit
#6 should be the answer to your question
https://www.davisinstruments.com/blogs/newsletter/6-ways-you-can-contribute-to-the-meteorological-community
and for the WS-5000 console (or via ambientweather.net or ambientcwop.com), just suspend your currently set up posting
