I'm considering two used Vantage Pro2 units I found on CL. I would like some advice since I have no experience with Davis equipment but I am somewhat savvy with Wx Stations.

I may be able to get this unit for about $200. It also includes 6520 which works for me since I'm a mac guy. What can anyone tell me about it from the serial number?

Just remember its used equipment. Unless you know the person selling and trust them you can always get screwed.

Thanks, yes I have taken into account the risk. He has been up front about the outside temperature unit not working. It's an easy fix and I have taken into account the price of that.
