Topic: Suddenly WU internet shows me offline.

Have an Ambient WS-2000 running for over a year.  Suddenly, WU internet site shows my station "offline" although my console has the WU icon lit. Ambient Weather.net icon is also lit and the Ambient internet site shows my pws and current data.  Checked all the settings for WU Web Server and they are correct.  Several widely scatted relatives use the WU site to check on our weather and I'd sure like to get it back working.  Any advice?

Advice? well now a huge debate got out of hand talking about WU. I’ll say no more about that.

I suggest you live with it since WU has outages all the time.  This will effect different parts of their service.  Nothing can be done to fix it as WU seem to only have a skeleton crew to put out fires when something happens.

Can you post a link to the station? There have been some outages recently but my station has been online all day.

Yeah, and I looked at the page. You history data is still there, based on that looks like you went offline at sometime yesterday morning (5/11).

I have to admit, by the name of your site "Royal Highlands Lower Glen Coe" I expected it to be in Scotland , not in a gated community in Florida

That's what I was going to suggest, sorry it didn't work. At this point I'd try emailing them and see if they have any suggestions.

I have the same equipment and have encountered the same problem many times over the last few months connecting to WU.
Resetting the console does not correct the problem.
However resetting my router appears to restart the connect to WU. This will work for a few days or a week or two and then the connection to WU will again drop. It is frustrating but given all the discussion around WU service, I have accepted it as the current reality.

Found a permanent fix.  Went to Wunderground.com and deleted my device, then deleted my account.  Thanks for all the responses to my posting!

Ouch!, well I guess that is one way
In my case the only reason I post to WU is to get the Wundermap which I like without ads. I prefer both Ecowitt.net and Ambientweather.net as far as looking at my own data.
